For the third time in our short history, Leonese gin takes home the Gold at the World Gin Awards
Once again, our BUNKER ORIGEN gin has been crowned Best Gin in Spain 2024 at the World Gin Awards.
The World Gin Awards are the world's premier spirits competition that determines each year the best spirit from each country. After a strict blind tasting, on Thursday 18 January, they announced that our BUNKER ORIGEN gin is the Best Gin in Spain 2024 .
The Leonese gin has won this award for the second consecutive year and for the third time in its history after having also obtained it in 2023 and 2021.
BUNKER ORIGEN is thus eligible for the Best Gin in the World 2024 award, an award for which only the winners from each country are eligible and which will be decided on February 22.
Enrique Lozano, Master Distiller of BUNKER DISTILLERY and formulator of the recipe for this successful gin, is established as one of the best in his field, as BUNKER ORIGEN has won 10 international awards.
Enrique Lozano and María Suárez , entrepreneurs and producers of BUNKER ORIGEN gin, are very excited about the news , as this is the third year they have received such a well-deserved recognition.
